Story: "I'm originally from Louisiana; I came to Hawaii a decade ago to surf and I've been here since. I grew up first in my mothers kitchen and later in my family's small town creole restaurant. When I'm not cooking for surf camp or surfing, I'm probably working on our website or driving our ice cream truck! Hawaii is an awesome place for food and I'll be sure you eat all of the fresh seafood, plus we'll check out the local food at different spots around the islands."

Job: Surf and Stand Up Paddle Instructor
Story: Mike has Bachelor Degrees in both Marine Biology and Outdoor Recreation Administration. He is a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain, PADI Dive Master and a Certified Advanced Ocean Safety Lifeguard. Mike has been a professional ocean lifeguard on the beaches of San Diego and here on Kauai. He gives one of the best lessons in the islands and most of you will be standing on your board the first day.

Surf n Sol started in 2009 when Christine and Andrew crossed paths on the North Shore of Oahu. He was doing private chef work and she was in a new direction after just finishing an intensive stretch of yoga training. They thought that by combining their skills and abilities, they could organize fun and affordable surf trips for guests to Hawaii.

After 2 years of stoked-out Kauai surf campers, we will soon also be packaging 3-day surf camps in Waikiki on Oahu. Now you can expirience Surf n Sol at a much lower cost while keeping the same services and amenities that we offer in our week-long package.
